All transactions made between S6 Wraps Limited and its customers are subject to these terms and conditions. Deposits shall be paid in advance and prior to commencement of any work. Payment forms include cash, company check and debit/credit card. Debit/credit card transactions will be subject to a 3% convenience fee. Final payments shall be due for each vehicle on completion and collection of the vehicle. Customers agree that any additional work or materials not specifically set forth in the quote are an extra charge which shall be billed and charged for at its regular prices including, but not limited to, hourly rates for labor and services of £40.00 per hour and costs for goods and materials at costs plus twenty percent. Customers agree that it shall pay for all extras billed and charged by S6 Wraps Limited.The terms of this quote are good for a period of ten days at which time if not accepted shall be subject to change. All invoices and agreements are subject to the accompanying General Terms and Conditions.
General Terms and Conditions
Conditions of vehicles for wrap installation. Customers agree to have all vehicles delivered for wrap installation at customers sole costs and expense, damage free, washed and dried and in a ready to install condition. Neither S6 Wraps Limited nor its designated agents or subcontractors shall be responsible for any damage sustained to any vehicle prior to delivery. S6 Wraps Limited and/or its designated agents or subcontractors upon delivery will note any damage sustained to a vehicle prior to delivery, and such damage will excuse and invalidate the warranty provided by S6 Wraps Limited. Customers shall be responsible and bear the risk of all loss for any vehicle prior to delivery. If a vehicle is delivered to a designated location in a damaged condition, the customer shall have the vehicle repaired or replaced at its sole discretion and its sole costs and expense. S6 Wraps Limited shall have no obligation to install any wrap upon a damaged vehicle unless instructed by the customer to do so, otherwise in which case the customer waives and releases S6 Wraps Limited from any warranty provided herein. If a vehicle is not delivered to the designated location in a washed, dried and ready to install condition, S6 Wraps Limited shall charge and the customer shall pay an additional charge of £30.00 per vehicle that will be added on to their outstanding payment.
S6 Wraps Limited is not responsible for errors in spelling, color or design in regards to any artwork submitted by the client. It is assumed that all artwork submitted to S6 Wraps Limited has been approved by the client prior to submission and is production ready. All artwork created by S6 Wraps Limited will be submitted to the client via a digital proof for approval. Prior to any printing, all digital proofs must be approved by signature and returned to S6 Wraps Limited via email. Upon approval, S6 Wraps Limited will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions in regards to spelling, color or design.
Appearance and Alterations
The customer must understand that the product purchased is a vehicle wrap. It is also understood that unlike a vehicle that is painted, there can be seams and patches that are necessary to cover the entire vehicle and its contours and irregularities. It is also understood that upon approval of final graphic proofs, some changes to the finalized artwork may be necessary at the time of installation to allow the vehicle wrap to fit the vehicle's shape. The customer authorizes S6 Wraps Limited to make such necessary changes.The customer must understand that in some situations blades will have to make contact with parts of the vehicle which can cause damage to paint and bodywork, this will only occur when there is no other possible way to avoid this from happening.The customer must understand that in some situations blades will have to make contact with parts of the vehicle which can cause damage to paint and bodywork, this will only occur when there is no other possible way to avoid this from happening.
Warranty and Aftercare
Once a vehicle has been collected we recommend hand washing all wrapped vehicles, no pressure washing. We use the best quality film available to us; on certain inverted areas and body contours, you may see some lifting of the vinyl on rare occasions. We warrantee the wrap for 60 Days from completion ensuring we do our best to work it back into the valley of the inverted contour/panel. Never attempt to remove the vinyl wrap yourself, this will void all warranty with S6 Wraps Limited, always seek professional removal. We do not guarantee any paintwork once vinyl has been installed and there is a possibility when vinyl is removed paint can become damaged.
The customer shall pick up and take delivery of any vehicle when the wrap installation has been completed at its sole costs and expense. Customers shall bear all risk of loss for any vehicle after completion of the wrap installation. Any vehicle not picked up after completion will be subject to an additional charge and storage fees in the amount of £25.00 per day.
Cancellations are to be communicated within 5 business days. Rescheduled appointments are subject to the next available installation date and no deposit will be refunded.
Indemnity by Customer
Customers agree to indemnify and hold S6 Wraps Limited harmless from any and all claims, causes of action or damages caused by the customer including reimbursement of reasonable attorney fees and costs. Once terms have been read and agreed this confirms the client is happy for S6 Wraps Limited to proceed with the vehicle wrap installation taking into account their no refund policy.
How should you clean your wrapped vehicle?
Hand wash only – This is very important as using a pressure washer or other similar type of machines will cause damage to your car wrap. The abrasive nature of car washes can cause damage to your car wrap. No abrasive products – They will scratch the wrap, in a worse way than they would scratch paintwork.
Leave 7 days before washing any newly wrapped vehicle.
Advise 3rd parties not to wash your vehicle – Some third parties (i.e. garage servicing, storage) will automatically clean your vehicle as part of the service. Make sure you notify them!
Can you polish or wax your wrap?
Most standard graphic films and overlaminates can be polished or waxed with a high quality car wax. Before use, test and approve in an inconspicuous area. Do not use any abrasive polishes or cutting compounds. For the carbon fibre and brushed metal films, a polishing product may be used. S6 Wraps Limited, however, does not recommend any polishing or wax product for the matt or textured films. If in doubt, feel free to ask us for advice.
How do you remove bugs, bird droppings or other similar hard to remove dirt?
This is probably the worst thing to deal with, especially if you are aware of our advice above regarding car washing. However, do not panic… Hard to remove dirt or contaminants are relatively simple to remove if you soak the area with hot soapy water. You will find that they will simply melt away with a wash mitt. Afterwards simply rinse and dry. If you do have problems, test one of these products in an inconspicuous area to ensure no damage to the graphics: Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) (two parts IPA to 1 part water) or denatured alcohol may also help. Spot clean the contaminants. Do not use rough scrubbing or abrasive tools that will scratch the film. Wash and rinse off all residues immediately.
How can you protect your vehicle wrap from fading?
In order to protect your vehicle wrap from fading we recommend that you store your car under cover or in a garage whenever possible. Vinyl graphics (just like paint) are degraded by prolonged exposure to sun and atmospheric pollutants, particularly on the horizontal surfaces such as bonnet, boot lid and roof. If you cannot store under cover during the day, try to park in a shaded area (although we recommend you avoid parking under trees that drop sap, or are frequented by lots of birds). In addition, if you have no garage or porch, consider using a car cover.
